What is OBIZ?
OBIZ is a place to start with any household job in Dundee and surrounding areas. Tell us what you need; we review your request and help arrange a suitable independent service provider where available.
Who actually does the job?
Jobs are fulfilled by independent service providers arranged through Obiz. Providers are not Obiz employees.
Does sending a request book the job?
No. A request is not a confirmed booking or an instant quote. OBIZ reviews the details, checks provider availability, and then responds with a quote or message.
Which services are available?
Moving and collection/delivery are established services in Dundee, subject to checking the job and date. Cleaning, furniture help, decorating, repairs, garden jobs and gutter cleaning are being explored and depend on suitable provider availability. Sending a request does not guarantee we can arrange the work.
What if my job isn't listed?
Describe it in your own words and choose ‘Not sure / Something else’ if you like. You don't need to know the right category.
Can I add photos?
Yes — add up to five JPG, PNG or WebP photos, under 5 MB each. Photos are kept private for your request review.
